Sens'it Privacy Notice
The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to inform you about the conditions of your Personal Data processing by Sigfox, a French company (société anonyme), with its registered office at 425 rue Jean Rostand, 31670 Labège, France, registered under number 514 582 444 RCS Toulouse (“Sigfox”, “we” or “us”), acting as data controller, with respect to the Personal Data collected via the website www.sensit.io (the “Website”) and the Sens’it device (the “Sens’it”).
“Personal Data” is data that identifies you as an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. Personal Data includes information that you provide voluntarily on the Sens’It Website and that is collected via the Sens’it.
In certain cases, Sigfox also collects information from or about your use of the Sens’it (e.g., the Sens’it location, the hardware version, the date the message was created, the Sens’it settings, etc.) and may process such information as “aggregated information”, i.e. anonymized information that Sigfox combined with other anonymized information, in particular for marketing, strategic development and analytical purposes.
What are the purposes of your Personal Data processing by Sigfox and what is the legal justification for this processing?

Who are the recipients of your Personal Data?
Your Personal Data will be shared with any Sens’it Distributor, any Sigfox Operator, any third party service provider and/or any company belonging to the same Group as Sigfox, involved by Sigfox in the provision of the services you requested or requested by Sigfox for the purposes listed in Section 1 above.
Are your Personal Data transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?
Sigfox may need to transfer your Personal Data, as detailed above, to recipients, as listed in Section 2, located in countries outside the EEA, such as the United States, Singapore, Japan or Australia for the purposes listed in Section 1 above. Some non-EEA countries are recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection according to EEA standards. For transfers from the EEA to countries not considered adequate by the European Commission, we have put in place adequate measures to protect your Personal Data. For how long do we retain your Personal Data?
We will retain your Personal Data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Notice. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and you use the Sens’it; (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to the enforcement of Sens’it Terms and Conditions of Use, applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).
What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
Subject to the conditions set forth in applicable law, you have the right to access, update, correct and/or request removal of your Personal Data from our databases and request that we restrict the processing of your Personal Data; you have the right to request that we provide your Personal Data to you or to a third party in machine readable format; you have the right to give us directives relating to the disposition of your Personal Data after your death; where we rely on consent for the use of your Personal Data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and you can request us to transmit such data to another data controller where applicable law requires us to do so.
You also have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data where we process your Personal Data on the basis of our legitimate interests.

Please note that we may request proof of identity, and we reserve the right to charge a fee where permitted by law, for instance if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. We will endeavour to respond to your request within all applicable timeframes.

We may occasionally change this Privacy Notice, to, for example, comply with new requirements imposed by the applicable laws or technical requirements. We will post the updated Privacy Notice on the Website. We may also notify you in case of material changes and seek your consent to those changes, where required by applicable law.
